4.1 Who we are

Daelman Consulting SARL acts as data controller for the personal data described below. For any question relating to your personal data, you may contact our Data Protection Contact, Matthieu Leclercq, at matthieu@daelmanconsulting.com.

4.2 Our approach

Daelman Consulting organises selected and targeted business introductions and meetings, on its own behalf and on behalf of its clients. We do not run mass marketing email campaigns. Our outreach is limited to professionals whose profile is genuinely relevant to a specific business opportunity.

4.3 What data we collect

In connection with this activity, we process the following categories of personal data relating to business professionals: title, name, first name, job function, company name, business address, business email address, telephone and fax numbers, professional résumé/CV information, and languages spoken.

4.4 Source of the data

This data is either provided to us directly by the individual concerned, or sourced from publicly available, professional sources (e.g. company websites, professional networking platforms, public registers).

4.5 Why we process it (purpose and legal basis)

We process this data in order to identify, propose, and — where relevant — organise business introductions, conversations and meetings between professionals with a shared commercial interest. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in conducting targeted B2B business development activity (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against the interests and rights of the individuals concerned. Where required by local law, we rely instead on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4.6 Who processes and stores the data

Your data is held by Matthieu Leclercq, acting as data processor on behalf of Daelman Consulting, in a secure computerised database.

4.7 Data retention

Data is retained only for as long as it remains relevant to the nature of our prospecting and business-matching activities, and is reviewed periodically for continued relevance.

4.8 Who we share it with

This database is the property of Daelman Consulting. It is not sold, rented, or made available to third parties. Data may only be shared with the specific counterparties involved in a given introduction, and only to the extent necessary to organise that introduction.

4.9 Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten");

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest;

  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances;

  • Data portability, where applicable;

  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact: matthieu@daelmanconsulting.com

4.10 International visitors

Daelman Consulting's activity is primarily European. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses), where applicable.
